Algunas personas en un pequeño pueblo español iban a celebrar un día de Santos importante en unos pocos días. Así que tomaron prestado un enome barril de una bodega de vinos y lo colocaron en la plaza principal del pueblo. La organización envió un mensaje a todos los habitantes del pueblo, diciendo que cada uno de ellos debería vaciar una botella del mejor vino que tuvieron en él, con lo que habría suficiente para todos la noche de fiesta.
Uno de los aldeanos pensó que sería muy inteligente y en lugar de verter una botella de vino en el barril, virtió una botella de agua. 'Nadie se dará cuenta "se dijo así mismo', porque habrá tan buen vino en el barril que el agua se perderá y no se notará en él. "
La noche de la fiesta llegó y todos los aldeanos se reunieron en la plaza del pueblo con sus jarras y vasos de vino. El tapón del barril fue abierto, pero lo que salió de él fue agua y no vino, ya que desafortunadamente, todo el mundo en la aldea había tenido la misma idea.

A Clever Idea
Some people in a small Spanish village were going to celebrate an important Saint´s day in a few days' time, so they borrowed a huge barrel from a local winery shop and positioned it in the village square. The organisers sent a message to all the villagers saying that each of them should empty a bottle of the best wine they had into it, so that there would be plenty for everyone at the evening´s fiesta.
One of the villagers, thought he would be very clever. Instead of pouring a bottle of wine into the barrel, he poured a bottle of water. ´No one will notice it,' he said to himself, 'because there will be so much excellent wine in the barrel that the water will be lost in it.'
The night of the fiesta arrived. All the villagers gathered in the village square with jugs and their glasses for the wine. The tap on the barrel was opened - but what poured out was pure water. Everyone in the village had had the same idea.
