Con más de 5km de playas, Altea se divide en varias zonas.
En primer lugar tenemos Cap Negret al norte, que es una playa de grava que mide unos 2km aproximadamente y el agua es muy clara. Dur ante la temporada alta se pueden alquilar hamacas, pat inetes y camas solares, además tenemos la Sierra de Bernia como inigualable telón de fondo
A continuación tenemos Playa La Roda, una de las playas con más vida d e Alt e a cuenta c on innumerables tiendas, restaurantes, ba res y heladerías y con fácil acceso para dis c apacit ados. Aquellos qu e tengan b uena energía pueden dirigirse a los centros de vela y submarinismo que están abiertos nor malmente todo el año. Al sur tenemos la playa de grava Cap Blanc que se encuentra con la ciudad vecina L’Alfàs del Pí. No se olvide de coger su traje de neopreno ya que puede alquilar el equipo para hacer windsur f durante el verano.
Ahora, si quiere quitarse la ropa debe ir a La Solsida, que se encuentra al norte de Altea. A esta zona se accede por un camino rocoso, por lo que debe ir preparado para andar por este tipo de terreno, pero el paisaje merece la pena (hablo de las cuevas y las calas, no de los nudistas) ¡así que fíjese bien, es todo un espectáculo!

Altea
With over 5km of beaches, Altea is split into various areas.
Firstly we have the Cap Negret to the north which is a gravel beach, approximately 2km long and clear waters. In high season you can hire deckchairs, pedal boats and sunbeds and the Sierra Ber nia provides a stunning backdrop.
Next up is Playa La Roda, one of the liveliest beaches in Altea with plenty of shops, restaurants, bars and ice cream parlours and easy access for the disabled. Those with an abundance of energy can head for the yacht and diving centres and these are normally open throughout the year. To the south is the gravel beach of Cap Blanc which meets with the neighbouring town of L'Alfas Del Pi. Don't forget to pack your wetsuit as windsurf hire is available during the summer period.
Now if you want to get your kit off you need to go to La Solsida which is to the north of Altea. This area is accessible via a rocky path so be prepared for quite a walk but the scenery is worth it - and I'm talking about the coves and creeks readers - not the nudists - keep focused now!
